For Next to Normal at Houston Broadway Theatre, I was commissioned to create high-end, Broadway-caliber key art that would captivate audiences as part of the company’s inaugural season. The production was sleek, modern, and stripped back, and the visual identity needed to reflect that aesthetic. The key art embraced a minimalist yet striking approach, balancing sophistication with emotional depth. Beyond the key art, I designed a comprehensive suite of marketing materials, including social media ads, print collateral, and a fully custom program—crafted to rival the quality of top-tier Broadway and West-End playbills.
Key Art Design
The key art for Next to Normal captures the show’s emotional depth through dynamic typography, layered textures, and a moody color palette. The design reflects the story’s themes, creating a striking and memorable visual identity.
Marketing
